The Meeting Alliance team recently hosted a Group Clean-Up Day at HomeFront Sewing Space in Lawrenceville, NJ.
The team worked in two shifts to sort and organize piles and shelves full of donated household goods, which included kitchen appliances, glassware and plates, luggage, lampshades, bedding and home decor:
They also assisted with unloading a truck full of perishable items that had been donated to the HomeFront Food Bank.
Lunch was provided to all of the volunteers by our generous friends at Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill.
Meeting Alliance has been volunteering with HomeFront through the “Alliance for Change” program that was implemented last year.
HomeFront’s mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey by harnessing the caring resources and expertise of the community. They help homeless families advocate for themselves individually and collectively.
