Barbara Jackson is a Founding Partner at Meeting Alliance, with management responsibility for the company’s operations.

Barbara began her career in meeting planning in 1975. She worked for several travel agencies and industry-leading meeting planning companies in planning, operations and field program execution. She has deep experience planning and executing meetings of all kinds, with a specialization in pharmaceutical meetings.

In 1999, she joined forces with two experienced Travel Directors to form Meeting Alliance. As the Senior Planner responsible for operations, Barbara oversees the planning, execution and evaluation of all programs. She manages and supports the company’s Project Managers, in the office and in the field.

Barbara is known for the meticulous and detailed planning of all programs - from a small Investigator Meeting to a large pharmaceutical POA program. She is particularly adept at program development and adhering to client budget requirements, partnering with clients to achieve success and reach the goals set for each program. She is approachable, flexible, known for her direct and efficient approach on site – as a result, she is very well known and respected in the industry by planners, vendors and clients.

Barbara’s on-going role in the office is to build client relationships, develop Meeting Alliance’s operational procedures and policies and coach Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Barbara attended the University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University.

She lives in Bordentown, New Jersey, but spends her free time in Ft. Pierce, Florida with her husband Hank.
