Eduardo brings over 25 years of Hospitality Management & Sales experience in the hotel, resort, and conference center industry. He knew Hospitality was his future when he decided against pursuing an Engineering degree at Cornell University, opting instead to valet park cars at the exclusive Hilton at Short Hills, then a AAA 5 Diamond rated Hotel. In the subsequent years he has held various Operational & Sales positions throughout the New York/New Jersey area. These have included on-site, Regional, and Global positions with “best in class organizations” such as McDonald’s, Hilton, Starwood, Millennium Hotels, Dolce, Intercontinental, & most recently, Director, Global Accounts for Omni Hotels out of the New York City regional office.
Named 2009 Supplier of the Year by the NJ Chapter of MPI (Meeting Professionals International), Eduardo is always looking for a way to assist, mentor, and motivate others! He is also active on Fairleigh Dickinson University’s International School of Hotel Tourism Management Board of Industry Advisers, shaping the future professionals of the dynamic Hospitality industry.
Eduardo excels at analyzing your business needs, developing mutual objectives, and proposing solutions that will improve your cost and budget efficiencies, while still upholding the service levels you expect. He is particularly strong in partnering with vendors, increasing Value while still contracting fairly and efficiently and minimizing risk. He is adept at the principles of Procurement and Vendor Management and how these can ultimately impact your bottom line.
Eduardo and his wife Carolina live with their two boys, Efrain (11) and Daniel (3) in Scotch Plains, NJ. They enjoy being active in their Church, spending time with family and friends, and a good laugh!
