The happiest country in the world; a paradise for peace and biodiversity; a green beacon for environmental stewardship—Costa Rica is a country of many accolades. Winners and their guests enjoyed a five-night stay at the JW Marriott Guanacaste, located on Costa Rica’s more arid Pacific Coast. Aquatic activities included sailing, surf lessons and world-class deep sea fishing. Action adventures included zip-lining, ATV, and eco tours to local wetland preserves. A relaxing day at the world-class spa or lounging by the pool or on the beach at the hotel enticed many as well. Evening events included a sunset, barefoot beach party with fire pits and casual lounge seating and a gala event under a tent that was transformed into a vibrant rain forest complete with performers painted into cheetahs, rain forest frogs and butterflies mingling among the guests.
